Sexy Knitters Unite!

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, there's really no knitting progress to speak of.  However.  Something's been on my mind for a while now and I've decided to share it with you all.  Now this won't come as a surprise for most of you, but as I discover more and more knitting blogs and knitting bloggers, I've made an astute observation.  There are a lot of damn sexy knitters out there!  I mean there ARE!  Not sexy like slutty sexy, but sexy like beautiful sexy.  A case in point.  I was sort of teasing Heather about her unique "sock shot" she recently posted on her blog.  Actually, what I said was that I was impressed with how limber she was and that I wasn't sure I wanted He Who Wears Levi's to see the position for fear he might start to get ideas.  Augh, and just look at that sexy little peak-a-boo look she's giving us!  S-E-X-Y!  Oh, and just in case you don't believe me, this evening FSS saw the same "sock shot" on my PC and said, "Who is THAT???   She's pretty!  How old is she?". Don't worry Heather, I didn't give him your real name ;-)  So anyway, Heather and I joked back and forth for a while and I told her that we should start a "Sexy Knitters Club" to help eliminate the misconception that knitting is for old ladies in rocking chairs.  (Not that there's anything wrong with old ladies in rocking chairs, so don't send me "hate mail comments".)  Anyway...  I could sit here and list all the knitter/bloggers that I think are PERFECT examples of "sexy knitters" (Stefanie, Wendy, Lynda, Amy, Lolly, April, Zarah, Marnie, Julie, Annette, Yahaira, Sara, Rachel, Carrie, Anne Marie, Beth, Nancy, Laurie, Kathy, Caryn, Eileen, Donna, Libby, Cari, Deb, Nona, Stephanie, Ariane, Drew {yeah, boys can belong too}, Cyndi, Amy (again), Alison...I could go on forever) but I won't ;-)   (I was going to link each and every one of those names to the corresponding blog, but it's really late and I'm really zonked, so forgive me.)  Oh, and if your name is NOT on that list, it's only because I  A) haven't discovered your blog yet,  B) haven't seen a pic of you on your blog yet, or C) forgot to add you because it's late and I'm really zonked.  But basically Heather and I are calling all sexy knitters to join the Sexy Knitters Club.  ALL are invited and you don't even have to audition ;-)  If you feel sexy enough to join, then you are sexy enough to join!  It's that easy!  Now, Heather and I are coming up with all sorts of fun discussion topics, knit alongs, maybe even a Sexy Knitters Club FO gallery!  Nothing X-rated please.  So, here are two buttons that I designed for you to add to your site if you're so inclined. 

 

If you want to become an official Sexy Knitters Club "member", please leave a comment here.  Or if you're shy and you don't want to publicly announce that you are a sexy knitter, email either Heather or myself and we'll add your name to the roster.  Oh, and please feel free to invite any other sexy knitters to join the group.  The more the merrier!  And remember, there is no age limit and there is no size limit.  All who feel sexy (and who knit) are welcome!
